Dunlop makes some big changes to the Srixon Revo CX 2.0, starting with the name. This update is called the Srixon CX 200 and it features a more aerodynamic beam along with a more responsive stringbed. At 11.4 ounces strung, this stick is weighted for intermediates, but it should also work for the more advanced player in search of a light player's racquet. In addition to its speedy Aero-Box frame design, this racquet benefits from Sonic Core technology with Infinergy, a uniquely elastic material that makes for a more dampened and comfortable feel at impact. The CX 200 also gets Dunlop's new PowerGrid StringTech system, which features wider crosses in the upper half of the stringbed, resulting in a friendlier, more responsive feel on balls hit in the upper hoop (a location that typically comes with higher levels of shock). On groundstrokes the CX 200 feels comfortably crisp at impact, and it offers easy targeting on full swings. It also has decent stability for its sub 320 RDC swingweight, and the open 16x19 string pattern supplies the needed bite for bringing the ball down with spin. The CX 200 is also mobile enough for executing aggressive shots on the run. At net this stick offers quick handling on reaction volleys, and there's enough feel for crafting angles and droppers. It also comes around fast on service returns to deliver the kind of accuracy that inspires confidence on aggressive replies. Ultimately, with some impressive updates to the feel and stringbed response, this racquet is a solid option for those who want a light player's racquet that keeps the ball on target (and feels great doing it).
